Luberon massif, an emblematic place of High Provence

The massif lies in the South of France and is more than 60 km's long, linking from east to west the departments of Vaucluse and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. It is composed of three mountain ranges : the Oriental Luberon, the Grand Luberon and the Petit Luberon.
Classified as a Regional Nature Park since 1977, the Luberon is also officially recognized as a biosphere reserve in 1997 by UNESCO. The massif became the image of the preserved nature and the caretaker of the environment.

Around the ranch, we have landscapes like these, first image is the North Luberon, second one the South Luberon.

La Florentine is located in Céreste, a peaceful village with some 1000 inhabitants. The North side is more ancient and the South side is residential with the municipal swimming pool. The road N100 runs through the village from East to West but is narrow and boarded with Plane trees, the traffic is rather weak. You can find shops and cafés near this road.
